Funny Or Die Presents The Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival Announces Brand Partnerships With Redd's Apple Ale, Holiday Inn Express® And TWIX
LOS ANGELES, July 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Funny Or Die Presents The Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival announced today that they have partnered with three top brands to present the world's biggest comedy tour. Sponsors named today include two returning brands – Redd's Apple Ale and TWIX, who were involved in last year's inaugural Oddball Festival – and the Holiday Inn Express® brand, who has joined for this summer's 20-city tour which kicks off August 8 at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, FL and wraps up at the Austin360 Amphitheater in Austin, TX on September 21.
Redd's Apple Ale has been working with Funny Or Die's Road to Oddball through the spring and early summer staging a competition for up and coming stand-up comedians, giving one lucky winner the opportunity to perform on-stage at Oddball's Comedy & Curiosity Tour. The 15 finalists, chosen by a panel of judges, created plea videos for Funny Or Die viewers to vote for their favorite.
Redd's is proud to announce that, Grant Cotter, a comedian from San Francisco, has been named the Grand Prize Winner, earning a spot on the entire tour! Grant will share the stage with such comedians as Louis C.K., Sarah Silverman, Aziz Ansari, Amy Schumer, Jim Gaffigan, Bill Burr and many others.
