Biba's Facebook Page is Named India's Most Engaged
SocialBakers, the social media analytics company, has released their exclusive social media performance report for the month of August, 2012 and Futurebrands managed Facebook page of Biba (with Brandmovers) tops the list for daily page engagement. Biba's Facebook page, with 145,000 fans, was India's most engaged Facebook page for the month of August 2012.
Futurebrands became Biba's Brand Partner in May 2011, taking full responsibility of Biba's brand strategy and brand management. The partnership was started by commissioning a six city study of the women ethnic wear market. The study involved conducting a wardrobe audit, in-depth interviews, accompanied shopping trips and an ethnic wear retail audit.
Articulation of what the brand stood for and envisioning what it could become were important steps of arriving at the brand strategy and roadmap.
Futurebrands appointed Brandmovers to create and manage Biba's Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts, along with blogs and other collaborative digital media. Biba has achieved the daily page engagement rate of 11.35% (compared to the 2-3% industry standard) and the page gained 4,705 fans in the month of August alone.
"We knew that Biba would be a good to great journey and together with a progressive promoter like Siddharth Bindra, we could create an impact on Biba's brand desirability and stature," said Aanchal Jain, Head - Brand Partnerships, Futurebrands.
Biba's Facebook page offers a channel for Biba's primarily female fan base to stay informed on the latest collections, product news, beauty & fashion tips and celebrity styles, as well as participate in the occasional contest. The page is also a resource for general fashion, beauty and health queries. For more information, please visit Biba's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/BibaIndia.
