The popular R11, now available with a powerful 5th generation Intel® Broadwell Core™ processor, expanded battery and keyboard folio, just got even better. Featuring a vivid 11.6" widescreen display and certification to stringent MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD- 461F, ANSI ISA Standard 12.12.01, and IP65 specifications, the R11 remains tough with multi-industry functionality.

Latest Generation of Intel® Power
The unit now features an Intel Broadwell U series CPU platform, a one-chip solution with a high-definition graphic engine, and featuring 15W low-power consumption. It supports Intel® vPro technology to meet mobility and security needs, and has a powerful Intel 5th Generation i-Core/Pentium CPU for better graphics, longer battery life, faster video conversions and stunning graphics.
Designed for Demanding Environments
The DURABOOK R11 is survival tested to withstand the daily dose of drops, bumpy roads, moisture, and dust associated with utility projects. Its MIL-STD-810G rating assures shock, drop, and vibration protection, as well as the ability to withstand use in a wide range of temperatures. Passage of the strict MIL-STD-461F Army Ground and Air Force standard allows the unit to be confidently used in military forces. Its IP65 rating ensures the unit is sealed tight from damaging water and dust intrusion. The unit is also certified to ANSI ISA Standard 12.12.01 (formerly known as UL1604 – Class 1 Division 2) for operation in hazardous locations.
Exceptional Features
The R11 is the lightest rugged tablet PC in its class at only 2.73 pounds including battery. It comes with a powerful 5th generation Intel® Broadwell Core™ i5-5200U 2.2GHz processor for superb visual and graphic performance. It has an 11.6" HD (1366x768) LCD anti-reflective display with a capacitive multi-touch panel, a water-tolerant design and an array of exclusive features and options for customization.
The R11 includes built-in G-sensor, gyroscope sensors, and a light-ambient sensor; Intel high- definition audio; M2-SATA SSD 64GB/128GB storage; a Micro SD card slot that supports SDHC and SDXC; and a front-side, full HD camera as well as an integrated rear-facing 5MP camera. Intel Centrino Wireless AC 7260 NGW 802.11 a/b/g/n/AC and Bluetooth 4.0 Class 1 provide wireless communications.
A lithium-polymer battery pack provides a battery life of 6-7 hours, while the extended battery pack provides up to 14 hours of operation. Security features include computrace support BIOS, administrator password, TPM 1.2, Kensington lock, and boot password protection.
Array of Options for Customization
All GammaTech computers can be customized to customer specifications. With a wide array of options, the R11 tablet is no exception. New options include Intel® Broadwell Core™ i7-5500U 2.4GHz processor, Lithium polymer extended battery and a slim Bluetooth keyboard folio with kickstand. Additional options include M2 SSD storage; anti-reflective (AR) and sunlight-readable display; barcode scanner, supporting 1D, 1D/2D barcodes; MSR, smart card, and dual frequency RFID (low 125khz and 13.56mhz) readers; built-in E-compass; Windows 10 Professional 32 or 64 bit; and dual battery charger.

The rugged R11 tablet is right at home in a variety of office or field settings. The DURABOOK line of rugged tablets is already used by: field service (commercial and residential), health care, transportation, field sales, retail, public safety, military, fire/EMS and hospitality.
