Program Aims to Reduce Risk and Liability for Home Builders
GARLAND, Texas, Oct. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Garland Insulating, a leader in home insulation solutions that is committed to helping home builders reduce risk and liability has partnered with RESNET to launch a pilot program for the mentoring and assessment of high quality insulation installers.
With this pilot program, Garland Insulating has taken a proactive approach to new energy codes by partnering with RESNET in the Dallas-Fort Worth housing market to ensure installation installers are educated on how to properly install insulation.
The RESNET—Building America program features practical instruction, field mentoring, and assessment of high quality insulation installers. The foundation of this program is a tablet-based curriculum—JobWerks Insulation Installer—developed by RESNET and Organic Think.
JobWerks Insulation Installer teaches insulation installers how to properly install all insulation types according to manufacturer specifications through a library of photo and video programs and helps project managers and company field supervisors mentor and assess the installer's performance to ensure code requirements are met.
