Garnero, President of the United Nations Association - Brazil, appeals to international power to share Brazilian culture
SAO PAULO, June 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The United Nations Association - Brazil is a non-governmental organization founded in 1998 by Brazilian entrepreneur Mario Garnero. Its main goal is to serve as a bridge between the United Nations (UN) and the Brazilian society by developing projects that seek to carry out the ideals and principles of the UN in Brazil. The Association has today two new international additions to help to spread Brazilian culture and projects around the world – Rohan Marley, president of 1Love Charity Organization and Miri Ben Ari, Grammy Award Winning, and talented violinist and composer are now Goodwill Ambassadors of UNA - Brazil.
Miri Ben Ari, is already spreading the good work around the world. On June 12 she was a guest speaker for the United Nations Panel "Thematic Debate on Culture and Development". She took part in the interactive panel discussion "The nexus between culture and development", after an invitation by Vuk Jeremic, President of the United Nations General and in the presence of in UN president Secretary-General, Ban Ki-Moon.
