Gas Money Pictures Casts Corin Nemec and David Faustino in New Animated Series
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Gas Money Pictures announced today that they have cast Corin Nemec (Parker Lewis Can't Lose/Stargate SG-1) and David Faustino (Married with Children/Dragons: Race to the Edge) in the animated series HOLLYWOULD. The series follows the exploits of two washed-up screenwriters as they work towards their long overdue comeback, all the while having to keep their heads financially above water as they deal with the literal fruits, nuts and flakes that inhabit Hollywould.
The much-anticipated series, which was previewed at the 71st Cannes Film Festival Marche' Du Film, is mastered in Ultra-high definition and geared to an adult audience. Created by James L. Bills, Hollywould is produced by Gas Money Pictures entirely in their North Hollywood studio with veteran Jesse Yang supervising animation, Paul C. Norman is Executive Producer while Bills and J. Horton are Producing.
Corin Nemec started his career acting opposite Jeff Bridges in the Francis Ford Coppola film, "TUCKER: The Man and His Dream." Later Nemec found himself starring as the title character in the critically acclaimed mini-series, "I Know My First Name is Steven," which landed him an Emmy Nomination and opened the doors to more deeply dramatic roles. He then starred in a successful TV Special with Eddie Murphy, "What's Allen Watching." This quirky and hilarious performance would later land Nemec the Lead Role in FOX TV's hit comedy "Parker Lewis Can't Lose." From that point on he would have his place in Pop Culture History. Nemec soon found himself working along side Stephen King and an A-list cast in the biggest mini-series in TV history, "THE STAND." He eventually would become a series regular on the Internationally Acclaimed Sci-fi show, "STARGATE," propelling him into an entirely new genre, which has gained him a diverse group of fans.
David Faustino is best known for his role as 'Bud Bundy' in Fox's long running sitcom Married... with Children. His prolific voiceover credits include the role of 'Mako' in Nickelodeon's hit animated series, The Legend of Korra. Currently David can be heard voicing the villain 'Dagur the Deranged' on Netflix's Dragon: Race to the Edge, produced by Dreamworks. A Los Angeles native, Faustino made his television debut at three-months-old as Lily Tomlin's daughter in the CBS special, Lily. Since then, he has been seen on numerous television series including The X-Files, Modern Family, Entourage, Bones among others.
David Faustino is represented by Abrams Artists Agency and Kass Management.
