"Supporting children's health initiatives is a longstanding community priority for us," said Sam Henry, president and CEO of GDF SUEZ Energy Resources. "We're proud to help raise awareness of pediatric cancer issues and help fund important treatment and education programs for these young cancer patients and their families."
"It's an honor to have the continued support of GDF SUEZ Energy Resources," said Dr. David Poplack, director of Texas Children's Cancer Center. "They've played an integral role in the success of our Radiothon for the past six years, and we appreciate their ongoing generosity."
Thanks to contributions from residents throughout the greater Houston area in 2011, last year's Radiothon raised more than $670,000 to support Texas Children's Cancer Center's mission of providing personalized high-quality, family-centered care to children, adolescents and young adults with cancer and blood disorders.
