The buyer, Broadstream Capital Partners, is a California-based merchant bank that provides advisory services and makes investments in companies in the lower middle market. The company was founded in 2001.
Corbel Capital Partners provided financing for the deal. Corbel is a structured equity fund with $95 million capital under management. The group makes non-control investments in profitable privately held lower middle-market companies.
Mike Meredith, assistant vice president with Generational Equity, led the deal to a successful close. "Our client has developed an industry-leading product with tremendous brand awareness, and Broadstream Capital Partners and Corbel Capital Partners are well positioned to take the company to next level," said Meredith.
