Dr. Coleman also brings his strong desire for innovation, drawing upon insights from machine learning and information theory. "Increasingly, the practice of pathology is becoming the practice of data science," states Dr. Coleman. "My driving interest is to extract meaning and present it in the most clear and efficient manner to pathologists, oncologists, and patients. There is a delicate art to communicating just the right information at the right time, but I believe that this is something we can perfect with advanced informatics tools."
