Geoffrey Shipp Joins California Central Coast Commercial Markets Team for HUB International

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Nov. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- HUB International of California, a wholly owned subsidiary of HUB International Limited, a leading global insurance brokerage, risk advisory and employee benefits firm, announced today the hiring of Geoffrey Shipp as a commercial markets producer, risk management advisor and senior sales management trainee. Shipp will affiliate with the HUB Central Coast Offices as well as the Pasadena and Westlake Village offices.

Shipp joins HUB and the commercial markets team on the Central Coast with a strong background in consultative risk management advocacy,  loss control and as a safety officer specialist. Most recently Shipp served as a Client Relationship Executive at ADP where his many duties included developing, implementing and measuring client escalations including service issues, contract violations, and general client experience as well as overseeing client retention programs and strategies. Correspondingly, Shipp was tasked with analyzing pricing structure performance for the Los Angeles revenue center.

In his new role with HUB International, Shipp will both be a catalyst for personal production as well as a regional sales manager reporting to HUB California Chief  Commercial Lines Officer and Executive Vice President, Darren Caesar.  Caesar said of Shipp's hiring, "We are excited to have Geoff Shipp join HUB Central Coast. Shipp's education includes a Bachelors degree in Marketing from Texas State University and an MBA in Finance from the Pepperdine University George L. Graziadio School of Business and Management. He is and has been for thirteen years a volunteer counselor at Camp Del Corazon which provides a free camp experience for children aged seven through seventeen who have been diagnosed with heart disease at Catalina Island, among other charitable benefits.
