HONG KONG, July 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- You can now be a comic hero and really help a group of senior artists via a crowdfunded project.

A new mobile app will allow you to be an art director by just uploading a picture from smartphone or Instagram; and you will get a professional handmade drawing. Different drawing styles including Sketch, Coloured Comic, Chinese Painting and Oil Painting can be selected.

You can even put the painting on your T-shirt or iPhone case.

Your choice is a meaningful decision: the artists who work behind the screen are going to lose their jobs after 28 July 2013. Your support will be a necessary action to relieve them and their families from financial crisis.

These artists have worked at the Arts and Crafts Fair in the Hong Kong Cultural Centre for 12 years. They served numerous citizens and tourists, and have earn much applause. However, the Hong Kong Government is shifting the management responsibility of the fair to NGOs and is going to evict all the stalls.

ArtsFair.Net have followed this case for a month; we went to protest with the artists together on 4th July. However, the Government has not offered any long-term alternative place for their work by the time of the submission of this release.

Finally a crowdfunding project is created to arouse the global awareness to this case, and hopes to change the decision of the Government; while also providing a long-term platform and supporting services to help senior artists continue their work online. Please visit http://ArtsFair.net/funding.html to support them and get your unique artwork.
