Getty Images Announced as Official Photographer of the Toronto International Film Festival

NEW YORK, Aug. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Getty Images, a world leader in visual communications, has today been appointed as the official photographer of the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), one of the largest film festivals in the world.

As part of the long-standing partnership, Getty Images will donate a portion of the proceeds generated from five pre-selected red carpet premieres to Share Her Journey, TIFF's five year fundraising campaign dedicated to championing women in front of and behind the camera. Share Her Journey is growing its global momentum with a lengthy list of ambassadors, including Priyanka Chopra, Amma Asante, Molly McGlynn, Jill Soloway, Jennifer Podemski, and Joyce Wong.

At the TIFF Tribute Gala, Getty Images' team of content creators will deliver high-end portraits of talent at the event. These images will be disseminated through gettyimages.com, the personal social media channels of the talent featured in the portraits, and TIFF editorial content.
