Ghidotti Communications Launches the Arkansas 100
The bi-monthly e-newsletter is part of a new national publishing platform.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark., July 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ghidotti Communications, a public relations agency in Little Rock, has launched the first issue of The Arkansas 100, a bi-monthly e-newsletter featuring 100-word stories and 100-second videos on relevant, timely and unique Arkansas news.
The Arkansas 100, as part of the nationwide group The 100 Companies, was created to provide need-to-know news in an efficient manner, and a platform and opportunity in the ever-growing industry of content marketing.
"The future of public relations is creating valuable, consistent content that engages people in conversations and thought," said Natalie Ghidotti, president and CEO of Ghidotti Communications. "With The Arkansas 100, we are at the forefront of that wave."
Easily consumable news is what readers wants -- from millennials to baby boomers. The challenge is now integrating the ever-growing success of video marketing into that format.
According to a study by Insivia, including video in digital content makes a significant difference. A few statistics from the study include:
- A video in an email leads to a 200-300 percent click-through rate.
- 65 percent of executives will visit the marketer's website after viewing a video.
- Conversation rates increase by 80 percent if a landing page includes video.
"By compressing visually stimulating footage and genuinely fascinating content into a 100-second video, we are getting the best of both worlds," Ghidotti said. "People are not only receptive to the information, but responsive. They act upon viewing."
Whether B2B or B2C, buyers are responsive to this form of curated content. A 2016 DemandGen Report survey showed that 51 percent of B2B buyers reference content when researching a purchase, 95 percent of buyers trust vendor-related content and email was the top channel to share such content at 97 percent compared to other mediums.
The 100 Companies now has e-newsletters across four states: Georgia, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Arkansas, each dedicated to the 100-word and 100-second format and focusing on hyper-local content. Additional states are coming online in fall 2016. The flagship publication, The Atlanta 100, now has more than 37,000 weekly readers.
"This particular concept of content marketing is progressive and unique. The success of other 100 Companies newsletters is picking up steam and speaking for itself," Ghidotti said. "We are thrilled to be a part of this national publishing platform as it continues to grow."
