Gidophone Attracts Domestic and International Audience at 2013 Consumer Electronics Show

DARDILLY, France, Jan. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Visitors from North America to Europe, Asia and beyond are flocking in huge numbers to the Taztag Booth (#35303) in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center to experience a product that's poised to revolutionize the way the public recharges their personal electronic devices at public venues.

Gidophone, a subsidiary of the ASKCO, is a French company specializing in the production, delivery and marketing of rapid-charging kiosks for mobile devices. Their display at CES focuses on their primary product, the Gidophone, a 6-foot, 8-inch tall inductive charging tower kiosk, built to quickly re-energize cell phones, tablets, laptop computers, MP3 players, game consoles, PDAs and cameras of all popular brands and makes.  Unlike other similar products on the market, Gidophone is 100 percent secure.  Users can relax, knowing their valuable possessions will remain locked in their own private compartment until the unit is recharged, or until they choose to retrieve it.

Gidophone is blazing a path for 15 French startups by exhibiting at this year's Consumer Electronics Show. The Government of France is considering a major investment on behalf of several tech-product startup companies at the 2014 CES, hence Gidophone is leading the charge this year as a pilot program.
