Gilt HOME Names Tom Delavan as Editorial Director
NEW YORK, July 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Gilt HOME, a division of Gilt Groupe, Inc., an innovative online shopping destination, announced the appointment of Tom Delavan as Editorial Director of Gilt HOME. In this role, Delavan will be responsible for the editorial direction of Gilt HOME as well as helping to guide and extend the Gilt HOME editorial voice. Delavan will join Gilt on July 25th and report to Jason Goldberger, General Manager of Gilt HOME.
Tom Delavan, the famed interior designer known for creating spaces that are elegant yet unpretentious, has served as Editor At Large at Domino, where he played an instrumental role in creating coveted editorial. While at Domino, Delavan was responsible for the highly popular Inspiration column and celebrity home makeovers. Delavan's experience in fine art and antiques brought a distinct voice to the magazine and showcased an aesthetic beyond the traditional interior design sensibility. Previously, Delavan served as Vice President of Art Advisory at Deutsche Bank and was the Director of the renowned Armory Show. Prior to that, Delavan was the Specialist in Contemporary Art at Sotheby's.
