Global Alumina Announces Annual General Meeting

TORONTO, June 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Alumina Corporation (TSX: GLA.U) (the "Company" or "Global Alumina"), announced today that its board of directors have determined the annual general meeting of the Company's shareholders will take place on September 6, 2012.  The record date for the determination of shareholders entitled to receive notice of and vote at the annual general meeting has been fixed as August 3, 2012.
