Global Axcess Corp Signs Extension With Grocery Store Chain, Adding 28 ATMs

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Aug. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Global Axcess Corp (OTC Bulletin Board: GAXC; the "Company"), an independent provider of self-service kiosk solutions, today announced that its ATM subsidiary, Nationwide Money Services, has signed an extension of a previously announced contract with a grocery store chain, adding 28 additional ATMs to the initial deployment of 31 ATMs with a full turnkey Global Axcess program.  

The Company expects to begin generating revenues from these services in the fourth quarter of 2010.

Mr. George McQuain, Chief Executive Officer of Global Axcess, stated, "This extension is further evidence of the solid relationships we build with our clients and our commitment to customer satisfaction. In March of last year, this customer installed 31 ATMs using our turnkey program. Based on the success of that program, we are now essentially doubling this installation, adding 28 new locations that were still under contract with a competitor when they awarded us the initial 31 installations. We have been successful in creating additional foot traffic and providing a valuable service to the client's customers, and our turnkey program allowed them do what they do best - service their customers, not managing ATMs. We are excited to expand this program and believe there are additional opportunities with this customer, including stores carrying a different brand name, in the future as locations come up for bid."
