SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- DWA, the leading global media agency specializing in the technology sector, today announced that global cybersecurity leader Raytheon|Websense has chosen DWA as their global media agency to power their brand launch under the new name Forcepoint.
To spearhead the brand launch, Forcepoint chose media agency DWA and creative agency Landor, after a thorough search. DWA was chosen to lead communication of the new tech brand to the market via emerging and traditional media methods. DWA is responsible for both the campaign's media strategy and execution.
The media campaign created by DWA uses data to weave together a powerful experience for Forcepoint's audience across screens and channels including display, content, email, print, radio and search, as well as out-of-home and geo-targeted mobile, to engage always-on-the-go technology buyers. The campaign launched on January 14th and initial results have exceeded best-in-class metrics.
"We're thrilled to help communicate to the world the value of a great technology brand like Forcepoint, who's changing the face of cyber security," said Bob Ray, President Americas, at DWA. "With 20 years experience as the only advertising agency exclusively focused on technology companies, we pride ourselves on applying our tech experience to campaigns and delivering measurable results."
On the creative front, Landor developed a world-class brand strategy and materials that showcase Forcepoint as a leader in its field for its ability to constantly adapt to evolving cybersecurity threats and aggressively meet those challenges head-on. In a separate press announcement, Landor details their development of collateral template designs, a business system, signage system, experience and environmental designs, brand launch video, and brand guidelines showcasing a vibrant and bold color palette and an overall style that conveys action, intelligence, and a heroic brand statement.
"A great message needs an audience. DWA's world-class integrated media strategies and programs ensure that we are reaching our audience and making a strong impact where it counts," said Neville Letzerich, CMO of Forcepoint. "To launch and grow our brand, we need a company that understands our technology-buying audience and who can leverage both emerging and traditional advertising - and DWA gives us that in spades."
Forcepoint is a combination of Websense, Raytheon Cyber Products and recently acquired Stonesoft—a next-generation firewall business. The name Forcepoint was inspired by the company's solid background in cybersecurity and financial strength, along with its unyielding quest to develop innovative solutions for identifying risk. Forcepoint was created to empower organizations to drive their business forward by safely embracing transformative technologies such as the cloud, mobility, and the Internet of Things (IOT).
The new brand will provide a unified, cloud-centric platform, which eliminates the inefficiencies that come from managing numerous security products. The solution will defend against attacks, detect suspicious activity sooner and give the context needed to decide what actions to take to defeat attacks and stop data theft.
