Global Resource Energy Inc. -- Kardings America Talks with Hampton, Virginia
NEW YORK, Nov. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Resource Energy Inc. (OTCQB: GBEN) -- Hampton, Virginia with a population of over 137,000 people, is "very interested" in converting to high efficient LED street lights and are reviewing the terms of Kardings' Hero© lease to own program which is designed to help municipalities transition to the more efficient energy street lights without increasing the city's budget. In many cases, transitioning can even lower the cost of operating the system while paying for the capital cost of the new system due to the extremely low operating cost of LED street lights. The City of Hampton operates approximately 11,000 street lights but is part of the Hampton Roads Greater Metropolitan Region which includes a total of seven (7) different municipalities with a population above 1.7 million people and operates in excess of 150,000 street lights in the region. This region known as the Hampton Roads Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) additionally includes one county in northeastern North Carolina and two counties in Virginia's Middle Peninsula. This represents a tremendous opportunity to Kardings as it could provide a strong foothold in the Eastern United States for further expansion.
The company (GBEN) is the exclusive distributor of Kardings brand LED municipal street lights. Kardings America is a licensed distributor and continues to act as the sales arm for the company.
Kardings is a multi-national green energy company designed to help bring eco-friendly technology to the market. Kardings offers LED Street Lights to all municipalities and can access a special fund called The Hero© program which was established specifically for green initiatives in municipalities. The lighting systems are highly efficient, dependable and come with the best warranties available in the industry. In most cases a city, town or village may retrofit to energy efficient led street lighting at no increased cost and may even put money back into municipal budgets. Kardings' website is www.kardings.com.
