Global Shield Security Develops New Security Officer Training System
LOS ANGELES, March 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The Los Angeles security company Global Shield Security, Inc. has developed a new officer-training system which is believed to dramatically reduce security risk and improve officer response.
Global Shield Security's training system, named TRS - Training, Reinforcement, Support - consists of a series of comprehensive seminars and examinations which familiarize the security officers with various types of security events and their appropriate responses. The system also takes into account the cognitive and behavioral patterns of each individual officer for a customized training program that will prepare them for the most effective response to any situation.
The security officers undergo weekly training sessions for three months, and group training sessions once a month thereafter. In addition, the officers have site-specific training that familiarize them with the important details of their posts. They will also have the opportunity to sign up for additional weekly training seminars that award them with Global Shield Security POC, or Professional Officer Certifications, which lead to advancement within the company to managerial positions.
"Perfection is our goal," says Jon Kerr, Director of Training. "Most people will say that perfection is unattainable, but it's because they give up trying to attain it. In the security business, you can't be less than perfect."
