RICHARDSON, Texas, April 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- GlobeRanger Inc., a Fujitsu owned IOT software and solutions company, announced today that George Brody, the founder and CEO of GlobeRanger, has retired from the company. George founded GlobeRanger in 1999 and pioneered the creation of information processing at the edge of the enterprise. GlobeRanger's iMotion™ platform now enables Internet of Things (IOT) solutions through device and data connectivity and management of RFID, sensors and other devices.
GlobeRanger was acquired by Fujitsu in 2014 and now becomes part of Fujitsu's Business Application Services (BAS) Digital IOT Business. Nabil Lodey will lead the BAS Digital IOT Business as well as continuing as Head of GlobeRanger's global business. David South, currently GlobeRanger VP Software Services & Delivery, will continue in his current role and also take on the leadership of GlobeRanger's US office in Richardson, Texas.
