GO Airport Express Brings Troops Home For Memorial Day
CHICAGO, May 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- GO Airport Express, Chicago's premier ground transportation provider, will offer the "Bringing Heroes Home" program to active military personnel in honor of Memorial Day.
Under the program, active military personnel in uniform will be provided free rides from O'Hare and Midway airports to downtown Chicago and Lincoln Park on Sunday (May 26) and Monday (May 27).
To participate, military personnel must show their military IDs to GO Airport Express representatives at the shuttle service's counters located near the baggage claim areas.
"All of us at GO Airport Express appreciate the services of our dedicated troops," says company President John McCarthy. "It's a pleasure and honor to do anything we can to simplify their journeys home."
One of the oldest companies in Chicago, GO Airport Express traces its founding to 1853 and the Parmelee Transportation Company, which provided a carriage service between Chicago's railroad stations and the downtown hotels. It is a founding member of The GO Group LLC, the nation's largest airport transportation provider, serving some 60 airports in North America, Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe and transporting more than 13 million passengers per year.
