"Now more than ever, we need to focus on kindness, empathy, and paying it forward by giving back," said Rob Solomon, GoFundMe CEO. "From Fidencio the Paleta Man to Chauncy's Chance, we've seen how ordinary people who start GoFundMe campaigns can change someone's world. With our #GoBeyondGiving challenge and Giving Tuesday donations, we are aiming to build on the incredible, life-changing momentum we see every day on our platform."
#GoBeyondGiving Challenge Details
Starting November 16, campaigns with the hashtag #GoBeyondGiving will be entered into the contest for a chance to win a $10,000 donation. The contest ends on December 9, and the winner will be announced the week of December 12. It takes just three simple steps:

- Add the hashtag #GoBeyondGiving to your campaign description and tell us why you are giving thanks by helping out.
- Share your GoFundMe on social media to start raising money.
About GoFundMe's Gives Back Program
Started by GoFundMe's founders, the Gives Back program puts GoFundMe's core values of spreading empathy and doing the right thing into practice. Once a month, every full-time employee nominates a GoFundMe campaign that touches their heart, and if selected, a donation of $1,000 is made to that campaign. This program allows employees to see first-hand the direct and powerful impact of their work.
Launched in 2010, GoFundMe is the world's largest social fundraising platform, with over $3 billion raised so far. With a community of more than 25 million donors, GoFundMe is changing the way the world gives.
