Gold Medal Service Donates More Than $30,000 in 2015

New Jersey-based HVAC, plumbing and electrical company makes three sizeable charitable donations through its customer membership program

EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J., Nov. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Gold Medal Service, an award-winning heating, cooling, plumbing, waterproofing, and electrical home service company, has donated more than $30,000 this year through its membership program and customer reviews incentives.

Gold Medal Service has donated more than $17,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project, which supports wounded service members, and nearly $9,000 to the Make a Wish Foundation, an organization that aims to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition this year. Gold Medal also donated over $6,000 to Cookies for a Cure, which raises money for children's cancer research.

"Giving back to those in need is extremely important to us, and we're proud to fund these donations through our membership and customer reviews programs," said Mike Agugliaro, co-owner of Gold Medal Service. Gold Medal Service offers a home maintenance plan called the "Total Care Club," which encompasses heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical services. The membership includes a 15 percent discount for any work performed, priority scheduling and two annual home checkups. When a customer purchases a three year membership, Gold Medal donates $30 to the charity of their choice.
