Goldplay Appoints Vice President, Corporate Development & Exploration

VANCOUVER, Aug. 02, 2018 /PRNewswire/ - Goldplay Exploration Ltd. (TSXV: GPLY, OTCQB: GLYXF - the "Company" or "Goldplay") is pleased to announce  the appointment of Mr. Trevor Woolfe to the newly created position of Vice President, Corporate Development and Exploration. As Vice President, Corporate Development and Exploration, Mr Woolfe will identify and assess new opportunities with the potential to grow the Company, engage in investor relations and marketing, raise the Company profile in the investment community  and enhance its shareholders' value, as well as providing management support to ongoing exploration activities. Mr. Woolfe will report directly to the President and CEO of Goldplay, Mr. Marcio Fonseca.

Mr. Woolfe brings 25 years of exploration, mining and public company management experience to the Company. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree, majoring in geology, from Monash University (Australia). His credits include positions with Australian companies CRA, Metana Minerals NL and Newcrest Mining Limited, as well as four years with Canadian major, Placer Dome in Chile and Brazil. He is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM – 27 years), Australian Institue of Geoscientists (MAIG – 4 years), a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD – 10 years), and also holds a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment (SIA).

In the 11 years prior to his appointment to Goldplay, Mr. Woolfe was Managing Director and CEO of Australian (ASX) listed and unlisted companies including Oro Verde Limited, Serena Resources Limited and Anchor Resources Limited, as well as the founder of his independent consultancy. Most recently he led the Oro Verde Limited exploration efforts in Nicaragua. Mr. Woolfe is a Latin American specialist and speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese.
