Golf Digest and J. Ryder Group Extend Their Golf Digest Planner Partnership through 2023
BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., Aug. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Since 2007, Golf Digest Planner, the golf outing and golf tournament planning software developed by J. Ryder Group, has enabled charities, schools, non-profits, and corporations throughout North America to raise over $100,000,000 in charitable donations at their golf events. With the five year extension of their Golf Digest Planner partnership, Golf Digest and J. Ryder Group assure golf outing event coordinators and participants continued ease in planning, organizing, and hosting successful golf tournaments and golf outing fundraisers.
Servicing over 20,000 golf outings, the extended alliance between Golf Digest, J. Ryder Group, and Golf Digest Planner is on track to generate over $50,000,000 in charitable donations over the next five years.
"J. Ryder Group has been a Golf Digest partner for the last 11 years when they developed the golf event planning software for tournament organizers," said Jerry Tarde, Chairman and Editor-in-chief of Golf Digest. "We're excited to extend this partnership through 2023. J. Ryder Group has played a major part in helping 20,000 charities, schools, non-profits and corporations. These events have raised more than $100 million for communities nationwide."
By allowing golf event planners to have their own website for registering players, promoting the event, collecting donations, and gathering sponsors, Golf Digest Planner enables any organization, company, non-profit, school, or group to host a successful golf outing as a primary annual fundraising activity.
"This year will be the 10th year that I've chaired this event and the 10th year that I've dealt with Golf Digest. I've had much success with Golf Digest Planner and have purchased different tournament packages over the years. This year I sold out my event within 6 days, and I had to ask them to insert a message on the Golfer Registration Page that the event was sold out. They did it immediately," said Denise Derderian, Chair of Screen Door Open 'FORE' Special Olympics
Established Golf Digest Planner clients like Denise Derderian are in agreement with first time clients like Caitland Orlicz of the Knoxville Association of Area Realtors [KAAR]. After the success of their first annual golf outing this past April – KAAR Birdies for Backpacks – they are planning on the success of next year's outing. The five year extension of the Golf Digest, J. Ryder Group, Golf Digest Planner partnership assures them they can.
J. Ryder Group has been actively involved in the golf tournament business since 1998. Managing or providing services to more than 30,000 golf tournaments, J. Ryder Group developed two platforms that they also manage and administer for Golf Digest, the leading name in golf – Golf Digest Planner, a powerful tool for golf event planners, and Golf Digest Tournament Shop, a commerce website for all golf event related merchandise and contests.
