"We are very appreciative of the outpouring of support since we launched the foundation earlier this year. We are anticipating a great turnout for the golf tournament and hope to raise a lot of money for our cause. It is our hope that we can prevent other families enduring what we have endured."
TJ'S Team was founded after the passing in February of six-year old TJ Anderson in February 2018 after a year-long battle with pediatric liver cancer. After a liver transplant the day after Thanksgiving 2017, TJ's cancer spread to other parts of his body. TJ's journey was featured on Molly's Kids on WBTV with Molly Grantham. The foundation logo was also on the Ricky Benton Racing No. 92 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series entry for the N.C. Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway this past May.
