GolinHarris Appoints Flavia Vigio As Executive Director
CHICAGO, Oct. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- GolinHarris announced today its appointment of Flavia Vigio as executive director at GolinHarris. Flavia will provide senior counsel to select global clients and will work to build the agency's business in the U.S. and Latin American markets. Vigio will relocate to the U.S. in the New Year. She will report to Gary Rudnick, president of the Americas.
Prior to GolinHarris, Flavia served as vice president of communications of Arcos Dorados, the company responsible for managing McDonald's in Latin America, where she was responsible for the areas of media and public relations, government relations, internal communication, corporate citizenship, customer relations and crisis management for the region. Previously, she was responsible for communications at McDonald's Brazil until 2007. She also worked for Publicom, the agency recently acquired by GolinHarris in Brazil, for five years. At the beginning of her career, she spent five years in Milan, Italy, where she was a public relations supervisor at Prima Classe, a fashion and leather goods retailer. She holds a degree in Journalism from Pontifícia Universidade Catolica OF Rio de Janeiro.
