Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake to Host Career Fair, Multiple Hiring Events and Resource Fair in May
Career fair celebrates the power of work during Goodwill Industries Week
BALTIMORE, May 1, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake announced today it will host a job fair at its headquarters in Baltimore on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 10 am until 1 pm as part of its Goodwill Industries Week celebration.
Every year during the first full week of May, Goodwill agencies across the United States and Canada celebrate the power of work through local hiring events. As part of its mission of providing job training and placement services, Goodwill is hosting the career fair to help local residents find employment.
Employers scheduled to attend include: The Class Produce Group, Tallgrass Talent Group, Youth Advocate Programs, Inc., Davco Restaurants, C&S Wholesale Grocers, Crown Cork and Seal Food Packaging, Kennedy Krieger Institute, The Senior Life Insurance Company, Abacus, NCIA, Melwood, Baltimore City Fire Academy, Symphony Placements, Maryland Department of the Environment

In addition to the career fair, Goodwill will also host hiring events with multiple employers in the area on May 4th, 11th, 13th and 21st. Hiring events are held at Goodwill's main career center (222 East Redwood Street) and participants must register to attend by contacting Marlon White at [email protected] or 410-837-1800 x168.
A community resource fair will be held on Wednesday, May 13th from 10 am until 2 pm at Goodwill's Redwood Street headquarters.
