Goodwill to open new store in Ellicott City
New store marks 3rd retail location in Howard County.
BALTIMORE, Oct. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake, will be opening a new retail store on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 9 a.m. The new store is located at 10164 Baltimore National Pike in Ellicott City, MD.
The new store will be open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
To celebrate the opening, the new Goodwill store will have a ribbon cutting ceremony, a raffle and will feature the everyday great prices and selection customers are familiar with. During the Grand Opening Weekend (Thursday, October 9th through Sunday, October 12th), customers can also enter to win a flat screen television or Kindle Fire, and other great prizes.
The new location marks the 3rd retail location Goodwill has in Howard County. The new store will create seventeen new jobs in the community. Area residents will also be able to donate unwanted clothing and household items at the location. In addition to 25 retail stores, Goodwill operates 3 outlets and GoodDeals in Rosedale.
