Some of the world's largest consumer brands and OEMs will present the trends and challenges their industry faces, providing insight into what technology solutions are needed and why.
This will be complimented with presentations covering new technology breakthroughs, many being announced for the first time, in addition to over 200 exhibitors demonstrating their solutions.
Nine parallel conferences cover flexible and hybrid electronics; wearable technology; 3D printing; sensors; graphene; Internet of Things; energy harvesting, energy storage; and electric vehicles. Each are a two-day executive conference, co-located with the common exhibition.
The IDTechEx Show! is targeted to brands and OEMs seeking to exploit new technology advances to enable product differentiation, address problems with existing products, discover and quantify new business opportunities and meet partners and customers. It is attended by technology scouts, business developers, product managers, executive management teams and technologists seeking technology and market insights.
"The quality of the speaker program and attendees is superb. We have presentations from many leading end-user companies such as Google, Unilever, Boeing, Coca-Cola, Kellogg's Ford, Toyota, Porsche, Amazon, Procter & Gamble. The whole event is geared towards bringing technologies to market by solving problems in these industries," says Raghu Das, CEO of IDTechEx.
"For example, this event is where materials companies can speak to brands and OEMs to understand what they need and similarly where OEMs can learn about the new materials, components and devices enabling new functionalities," Das adds.
"The IDTechEx Show! brings together the supply chains from a multitude of science and technology industries along with the companies that need them; and by doing that, attendees will discover new business opportunities and synergies."
The exhibition features over 200 exhibitors, from material suppliers to system integrators, many demonstrating technology in action. It features many exciting zones: the IDTechEx Launchpad features 20 early stage companies demonstrating new products; Demonstration Street showcases a full range of working products from around the world; and Manufacturing Street has live manufacturing with experts on hand to answer questions.
