Governor Bruce Rauner to Discuss Illinois Turnaround at the Turnaround Management Association (Chicago/Midwest) Breakfast
CHICAGO, May 6, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner will keynote the Turnaround Management Association's (Chicago/Midwest) breakfast forum on May 8 at the Standard Club, 320 S. Plymouth Court, Chicago. Doors will open at 7:00 a.m. The Governor will speak from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Following the Governor's remarks, the audience will have an opportunity for open Q&A.
Rauner stated at a program earlier this year that: "This is arguably the biggest turnaround in America today and certainly it's the biggest turnaround I've ever been associated with. Venture capital is my passion and my profession and my avocation. But, this is a subject dearer, more meaningful to me, more emotional to me because this is about home."
Governor Rauner is an American businessman, philanthropist, and politician. Prior to his election, he was the chairman of R8 Capital Partners and chairman of the private equity firm GTCR, based in Chicago.
Costs to attend are $40 for members; $15 for students; and $80 for non-members. Pre-registration online at www.tmachicagomidwest.org is requested. A continental breakfast is included in the event fee.
TMA members include turnaround professionals, accountants, attorneys, brokers, investment bankers, private equity firms, valuation firms, private investors and business consultants.
