Governor Corbett Orders PA Flags at Half-Staff in Honor of Arlen Specter
HARRISBURG, Pa., Oct. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Tom Corbett today ordered Pennsylvania flags at the Capitol Complex and all commonwealth facilities to fly at half-staff in honor of former U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter , who died Sunday.
Specter, 82, of Philadelphia, represented Pennsylvania in the U.S. Senate for 30 years.
Flags shall be flown at half-staff until sundown on Tuesday, Oct. 16, the day of Specter's internment.
All Pennsylvanians are invited to join in this tribute.
