Governor Corbett Orders State Flag at Capitol Complex and in Luzerne County to Fly at Half-Staff to Honor Fallen Corrections Officer
HARRISBURG, Pa., Feb. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Tom Corbett today ordered all Pennsylvania flags in the Capitol Complex and at commonwealth facilities in Luzerne County to fly at half-staff in honor of Corrections Officer Eric Williams .
Williams, 34, of Nanticoke, was killed while performing his duties Monday evening at Canaan federal penitentiary in Wayne County. Flags shall remain at half-staff until interment.
All Pennsylvanians are invited to join in this tribute.
