'GRACEDBYGRIT' Announces Crowdfunding Campaign
Women's Athletic Apparel Company seeks to raise $20,000 to fund the grand opening of first retail store
SOLANA BEACH, Calif., May 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- GRACEDBYGRIT, a San Diego, California based women's athletic apparel brand offering high-performance activewear designed for land and sea, has launched a crowdfunding campaign.
GRACEDBYGRIT, founded in 2013, by two female entrepreneurs, Katharine Nowlan and Kimberly Caccavo. GRACEDBYGRIT designs and manufactures athletic clothing that fits well, offers UPF 50+ sun protection and comes with a safety whistle. The crowdfunding campaign aims to raise $20,000 to fund the opening of the company's first retail store, in the city where the business was founded: Solana Beach, California.

The co-founders of GRACEDBYGRIT selected PLUM ALLEY as their crowdfunding platform because Plum Alley has a laser-focus on women-owned businesses. Deborah Jackson, a female entrepreneur and a former finance executive.
