WASHINGTON, Dec. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Green Car Journal has revealed its finalists for the 2014 Green Car Technology Award, a high-profile recognition of 'green' technology presented at The Washington Auto Show® in the nation's capital. Finalists include a wide array of technologies from U.S., European, and Asian auto manufacturers.

The Green Car Technology Award™ focuses on technologies that enable significantly improved environmental performance in vehicles today. To qualify for consideration, technologies must be in use on American highways during the award year. The winner of the 2014 Green Car Technology Awardwill be announced during the Washington Auto Show's second Policy Day on Wednesday, January 22, 2014.
