Bobby Rosenbloum, Greenberg Traurig Shareholder and Co-Chair of the firm's Atlanta Entertainment and Media Practice, is serving as chair of the program. Titled "Entertainment Law for Technology Companies: Negotiating Strategies & Cutting Edge Issues," the program will be held from 1:00 to 5:15 pm at the Four Seasons Hotel in Silicon Valley. Greenberg Traurig is co-hosting the event along with the ABA Forum on the Entertainment and Sports Industries, and the firm's attorneys will serve as moderators and panelists for the sessions.
The first session, titled "Internet, Cloud and Social Network Law and Liability Trends Associated with the Use of Entertainment Content in New Media Applications," will be moderated by Ian Ballon,Shareholder from Greenberg Traurig's Silicon Valley office. This panel will focus on the secondary liability for user conduct and content.
