GreenPrint and ClimeCo Announce Relationship to Address California Carbon Compliance Credits
ATLANTA, June 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- GreenPrint, the leading provider of voluntary reduced carbon fuel programs, is pleased to announce a strategic relationship with ClimeCo Corporation. A leader in project development, carbon market advisory services, environmental commodity market trading, and voluntary offset production in the United States, ClimeCo has teamed up with GreenPrint to provide GreenPrint's clients with a full suite of world class services required to navigate and comply with the complexities of the California Clean Air Act as managed by The California Air Resources Board (CARB).
"Many of our larger clients have specific, specialized needs in the state of California. We're thrilled to partner with ClimeCo, a leading consultancy and provider of Compliance Credits in California to better meet our client and market needs. Our goal is to continue to push GreenPrint towards having the ability to implement sustainability programs in as many areas of the world as we can, and through this partnership, we gain a solid foothold in California, an estimated $8.3 billion market," said Pete Davis, Founder and CEO of GreenPrint.
GreenPrint provides reduced emissions fuel programs for over 1,500 corporate fleets in Europe and North America. It works with leading refiners, wholesalers, and fuel retailers to increase consumer goodwill, sales, and profitability while supporting their communities and environment. For example, Strive Reduced Emissions fuel program is offered at over 100 ALON 7-Eleven stores, and the Ricker's Replenish program is available at 32 Indianapolis area Ricker's convenience stores. With these programs, GreenPrint calculates consumers' carbon emissions on each gallon of fuel and invests in certified carbon reduction projects, in addition to planting trees in the local community with The Arbor Day Foundation and local partners, to reduce those tailpipe emissions in the atmosphere and beautify the local community.
"We are thrilled to be working with the GreenPrint team in such a synergistic fashion," says William Flederbach, CEO of ClimeCo. "Big things are happening for both organizations, and we're excited to kick off our partnership and provide value for more companies in California."
