DENVER, March 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Jviation, Inc., a transportation planning, engineering and construction management firm, has hired Greg Dyer as the Aviation / Air Space Services Director based in the Denver, Colorado office. In this role, Dyer will support Jviation clients with air space analysis, air space routing, unmanned aircraft systems, and capacity/efficiency enhancements.
Prior to joining Jviation, Dyer brings 34 years of experience working for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Thirty of those years were spent with the Denver Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC), of which the last three years Dyer had oversight for the terminal facilities, including air traffic control towers, in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana. He has held positions with Airspace and Procedures, Quality Control, Traffic Management and all Areas of Specialty at Denver ARTCC.
While with ARTCC, Dyer was the FAA lead for the Colorado Wide Area Multilateration and the Denver ARTCC segment of the Denver RNAV projects. He has worked with all aspects of aviation organizations including commercial, general aviation, military, and special/research missions including unmanned aircraft systems.
His experience includes serving as the Air Traffic Subject Matter Expert for the NASA/Boeing/United/Continental three-dimensional Path Arrival Management project. In addition, Dyer served as the liaison to the FAA's Northwest Mountain Regional Administrator for Colorado and Wyoming congressional and public meetings.
Dyer holds a bachelor degree in Public Administration from Colorado State University.
