WHITE RIVER JCT., Vt., and COLUMBIA, Md., Jan. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- groSolar recently launched its updated Web site to better enhance the user experience. Users will find updated sections highlighting the firm's solutions and services, as well as areas of expertise such as solar installations on capped landfills and water treatment facilities.
The new projects section of the Web site provides detailed information on completed commercial installations and offered services to guide users through the development and financing steps of a new solar project. The Web site also provides insights from clients who have successfully integrated solar into their commercial and utility environments. Actual construction of projects can be viewed through galleries of time-lapse videos and photographs throughout the portfolio and Resource Library.
Highlighted projects include the 1.8 MW Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority's wastewater treatment plant project. This project is one of the most complicated application types to date in the solar PV industry and has recently been nominated for a PV America East 2012 Photovoltaic Project of Distinction Award. (See more about the project owned by Camden Solar Center, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Integrys Energy Services: Camden Solar Project.)
The revamped Web site also includes an update for groSolar's distribution channel. Customer documents are streamlined and organized into one location, as are products. A second phase to the distribution section is planned for later in Q1 2013 that will feature expanded technical information on products distributed by groSolar.
