Growth for Wilde Wealth Planning Team
Doug Cole Joins Wilde Wealth Management Group
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Oct. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Wilde Wealth Management Group is pleased to welcome Doug Cole. He will handle asset allocation and lead Wilde Wealth's Capital Preservation and Growth Strategy/Financial Planning team.
Doug Cole brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has served as an international commodities trader for Pillsbury and has managed investment portfolios for individuals and institutions. He has experience in developing and implementing portfolio management programs using tactical allocations, modern portfolio theory, strategic allocation and comprehensive financial planning strategies.
Doug says, "I have known the Wildes for 25 years and our families have grown up together, so I am very comfortable with who they are and what they do. I am excited about serving our clients together, and I think I offer fresh perspectives, with additional experience and approaches to bring to the firm and our clients."
Bill Wilde, President, says, "Doug will help us expand and strengthen the portfolio management and financial planning roles of the firm. We appreciate his knowledge and know that our clients will benefit from his experience."
Doug says, "I get excited about resolving complex issues, especially when they are so meaningful in people's lives. It is satisfying to help them prepare a comprehensive overview and roadmap for how they can pursue their financial goals, and then help them deal with change. Something they teach in military schools is, 'No plan survives contact with the enemy.' You have the most wonderful plans, and then some personal event happens, or tax laws change, or an industry collapses, and those have to be dealt with. I enjoy helping people get through all the situations they face."
He considers it an honor to be working with third-generation clients: "I like to think I've helped build a lot of houses, send kids to college, build retirements, and prepare clients to be happy, comfortable, and able to do the things they want to do. I don't know everything, but I know what I do know and what I don't know, and I really care. People entrust me with their financial well-being, and I have a tremendous sense of stewardship. When I train people, I teach them that sheepherders just take sheep from point A to point B. Shepherds are part of the flock. They know each of the sheep and take care of them on an individual basis while they also care for the group."
Trevor Wilde says, "Doug will be a great addition and will help us continue to deliver that personal touch as we serve our clients and their financial goals with care and integrity."
