GSA Renews Newark Corporation's 51V Hardware Superstore Contract For Second Time

CHICAGO, Sept. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Newark element14, the leading distributor of electronic components and engineering solutions in the Americas and a business of Premier Farnell (LSE:pfl), announced today that the General Services Administration (GSA) has renewed its 51V Hardware Superstore contract GS-06F-0044M for another five year period, through April 30, 2017. With the renewal, Newark will continue to offer federal government customers more than 100,000 electronic products.

The terms of the renewed GSA Schedule provide a discount off Newark's first column pricing on a very wide selection of in-stock products that include top brand test equipment, wire and cable, active and passive components, soldering stations, fuses and connectors. All on-schedule products can be purchased directly through the GSAdvantage.gov website and include free standard freight (APO/FPO) to the 48 contiguous states, District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
