GT Nexus Shipper Council Awards Expeditors for Superior Partner IT Performance for Air Transport
SEATTLE, Sept. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The GT Nexus Shipper Council, a community group of supply chain executives representing multiple large global companies, has recognized Expeditors, a leading global logistics provider, as winner of the 2017 Air Performance Award. The award is in recognition of Expeditors' outstanding efforts to provide timely and accurate information related to the air freight shipments that are handled on behalf of the Shipper Council member companies. During the measurement period, Expeditors delivered all but 200 of an expected 35,000 milestone events. The award was announced during the annual GT Nexus Bridges conference, held July 10-12, 2017, in New York City.
