Guardian Continues to Grow as the World's Leading Manufacturer of Ballistics Delivery Systems in a Fracking Market That is in Urgent Need of New Technology
Successfully demonstrates the value of its integrated Ballistics Delivery System whilst announcing the first commercial run of its proprietary Addressable Cablehead Tension Tool
HOUSTON, October 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Guardian Global Technologies announces today the successful demonstration of its Ballistics Delivery System for eleven client companies at Arkex's test facilities in Brenham, Texas. The system was comprised of an Addressable Release Tool, Addressable Cablehead Tension, Addressable Gamma CCL and 9 Select Fire Switches.
Guardian has also completed the successful commercial deployment of its Addressable Cablehead Tension Tool (ACT) in the Marcellus Shale in Pennsylvania. The tool enables operators to maximise pump-down rates whilst avoiding the expense of having to fish for a perforating string blown off the cable.
Patrick Keenan, Guardian's Chief Executive Officer, said:
"This Ballistics Delivery System demonstration was the first multi-client demonstration that Guardian has ever held. We are delighted to have had the opportunity to show such a large number of current and future clients its capabilities.
Similarly in an industry where engineered solutions are helping to increase output and maintain the profitability of oil and gas plants, we are pleased to announce the successful deployment of our ACT tool. Already used by one of our major clients in a Marcellus horizontal well, this is a significant step in Guardian's goal of defining the field-of-play for Ballistics Delivery Systems in North America."
