Cold fusion bonding is applied in a similar way, but the hair extension is applied by weaving small sections of hair through a micro link tube, which is then tightened with a weaving plier. Cold fusion extensions are thought to be gentler on the hair since there is no heat applied, however the weight of the extension may cause hair loss.
