Hamlet Golf & Country Club to Participate in ClubCorp Charity Classic National Event
One of 130 Clubs throughout the Country Holding Major Philanthropic Open-House Events
COMMACK, N.Y., Oct. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Hamlet Golf & Country Club, a member of the ClubCorp family of clubs, announces that it will, on Oct. 16, participate for the first time in the 2011 ClubCorp Charity Classic, ClubCorp's major annual philanthropic open-house event during which more than 130 golf and country clubs and business and sports clubs around the country are opening their courses and dining rooms to an estimated 16,000 members, guests, and patrons for tournaments, dining events, auctions, and social extravaganzas. The Hamlet event will benefit MDA's "Augie's Quest," ClubCorp's Employee Partners Care Foundation, and the American Cancer Society's Camp Adventure.
The event at Hamlet offers something for everyone with a golf tournament, tennis tournament, card tournament featuring poker, Texas hold 'em, bridge, and mah jongg, and a cocktail reception and buffet dinner.
