Happy Valentines Day Mr. President.
Modern Day Johnny Appleseed Urges Obama to Plant the Seeds of Love!
SPRINGFIELD, Ill., Feb. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- In his new book Der Himmelsgarten (The Heavenly Garden), Marc Daniels, eldest grandson of Ross Daniels, the inventor of the Ross Root Feeder®, asks President Barack Obama to root feed our ecological, educational and spiritual roots. Now the Chair of the Weed Out Hate Initiative and disseminator of free Peace Seeds, calls on lovers everywhere to take their relationships to the next level. He asks, "Instead of gifting roses as the work product of nature, why not plant the seeds of love and peace literally and figuratively?" Says Daniels, "Couples should visit their local garden center or email their mail order company and choose the plant or seeds that best express their mutual devotion. Then, after properly preparing the soil and sowing the object of their affection, let's transcend this act through a Valentine's Day email to the President and First Lady (www.whitehouse.gov/contact) expressing not only our thoughts of love but desire for peace."
According to Daniels, "Flowering plants, like peace and love, require much more than hope to flourish. They crave to be nurtured. Whether relationships are budding or mature, lovers should begin by extracting odious weeds. Removing them is a powerful paradigm for eliminating jealously, envy and hate. Freed from such negative emotions, spirits will bloom, enabling the seeds of peace, understanding and love to blossom within the hearts of lovers, our country—and the world."
Daniels notes that the Weed Out Hate initiative (www.weedouthate.org) calls on lovers of all ages to join his earlier appeal for children to write the President in planting sunflower seeds of peace and love in the White House garden this spring.
