TOLEDO, Ohio, June 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Harbor and Behavioral Connections of Wood County, Inc. will join forces July 1, 2014. The partnership will strengthen each operations by broadening the scope of services available to current and future clients.

Harbor is currently the largest mental health provider in Northwest Ohio and encompasses a wide range of services that include counseling, psychiatric services, care coordination, adult day services for individuals with developmental disabilities, vocational programs for those with barriers to employment, Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, wellness education and Employee Assistance Programs. Harbor was voted as a Top Workplace in the Toledo area in early 2014.
Behavioral Connections of Wood County, Inc. is also a comprehensive behavioral health care agency that provides treatment for mental health and substance abuse to the residents of Wood County, Ohio.
Together, the two agencies will combine to have 23 locations and over 650 employees in Lucas, Wood and Defiance counties. Several of the locations are residential housing facilities in Perrysburg and Bowling Green.
