Hark, the Ugly Sweaters Sing Emeritus Senior Living's Meddling Maude Hosts an Ugly Holiday Sweater Facebook Contest
SEATTLE, Dec. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- In honor of National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day today, Meddling Maude, animated star of Emeritus Senior Living's advice series, is launching her own Ugly Sweater Facebook Contest.
Participants should upload a photo of themselves wearing their most fabulous, misunderstood, festive, or dreadful holiday sweater by Dec. 31 on the Emeritus Senior Living Facebook page by clicking on "Maude's Ugly Sweater Contest."
"We've all owned that special holiday sweater," said Meddling Maude. "An ugly sweater is the perfect gift for someone who has everything – except a mirror."
Voting starts immediately and runs through Dec. 31 at 5 pm, PST. First- and second-place winners will be notified the first week of January, 2014, and awarded a $50 and $25 Macy's gift card, respectively.
Meddling Maude is the charming host of Maude's Two-Minute Meddlings – a new video series presented by Emeritus Senior Living that provides valuable tips and information to help seniors – and those who love and care for them – lead safer and healthier lives. Each new video launches on Tuesdays at www.emeritus.com/MeddlingMaude.
