Hasbro and Duracell Team Up with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation in Warwick to Help Kids in Need
MR. POTATO HEAD Character Will Encourage Community to Help "Stuff the Truck"
WARWICK, R.I., Dec. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Members of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, along with iconic character MR. POTATO HEAD (Hasbro, Inc.) and the Duracell Rapid Responder Truck are teaming up today to provide Christmas gifts – toys, games and batteries – to children in need. This special event, hosted by Procter & Gamble and Hasbro, is set to take place at Toys"R"Us Warwick, and members of the community are encouraged to participate.
"The toys and batteries we collect today will be much-welcomed gifts on Christmas day to less fortunate children right here in the community," said Win Sakdinan, Duracell Communications Director. "We hope to inspire some holiday cheer to donate a new, unwrapped toy."
Participants will have the opportunity to meet the MR. POTATO HEAD character, as well as Geoffrey the Giraffe, and watch as hundreds of toys and batteries are loaded into the Toys for Tots truck.

The event begins at 10 am on December 13 at the Toys"R"Us Warwick, located at 375 East Ave. in Warwick.
